My fraternal grandmother was a Healy from County Cork, of course! Since Irish geneaology may be more difficult to trace than some, thank you for the clan and this site. I know my mother, when she was living (pre-internet) was not successful. I have to look into joining!

HI, I have been doing some research on the Carroll family name. I was born a Carroll, but was adopted and now have my adoptive fathers name. But I still feel a conection with the Carroll name. It is great to be a part of a family that has so much depth and history. I am just at the start of my search into where my heritage lies, and so far so good. Thakyou for the information that you have gone to the trouble to collect.

Dia dhuit Clan Cian, The Loch Lomond Highland Games in Ben Lomond, California was full of happy people and the air had a fine celtic ring to it. Music floated around us at the tent all day long. We were visited by Patrick T. Malone who stayed awhile and joined the clan. A fine Irishman he is. Patrick had been by the tent in past years, so he told me. This year was just a wee bit different with the clan being close to the main stage and all that Irish music just a sturring in the air. With all that and the warm wind sliding across the feild of green grasses, why, what Irishman could not feel at home. Welcome Patrick Malone. We had a really nice time there with our freinds of Mountains of Ben Lomond, California . Hope to be there again next year. Slan Seamus

Just got back from the Games at Ben Lomond. With the fog and chill in the air, I felt like I was in Ireland. Nice event and well managed by the staff. Seamus was holding down (great cookies!)the fort and there was a great representation for the clan at the parade. Long live the clan!

Dia dhuit Clan Cian, We had a really fine time at the Sebastopol Celtic Festival. Lots of music and people. The whole area must be of Celtic roots ay? I also want to welcome two new mwmbers to the clan Cathryn Sutter and Tom Dorsher "Welcome Home!" The whole event was perfect even down to the bog that appered infront of the tent late Saterday night. Well I have to go now for today is the Loch Lomond Game and a whole lot of the clan will be there. Slan Seamus O'More
