My GGG grandmother was Martha Allen Carroll, originally from Pennsylvania. Father was Daniel Carroll. They lived in west central Illinois, McDonough county, until their deaths. I know nothing of their history or ancestors. Would like to know more.

I am a decendant of the Carroll clan, John, Lewis and Charles to mention a few. My grandmother was Eula Carroll who resided in Tampa Florida for most of her years. I have always been proud to represent the name Carroll and ironically I sell real estate in an area of Tampa called Carrollwood. My Aunt recently shared with me that the area was named after the Carroll family. Would love to learn and hear more.

I sincerely appreciate the wealth of information contained here. I am curious about possible relation to Diarmuid O'Carroll, the High King of the 6th century who is said to have established the copyright principle and, indirectly, St. Columba's migration to Iona. Am also curious about my personal family tree. I know my last Ireland-bound ancestor was a "merchant tailor and robe maker" whith a shop at 23 Anglesea St. In Dublin according to the 1880 census but Dublin is like New York or London - living there doesn't mean you originated from there.

Please help us to trace the Aos Alla sept of the Clan Carroll. Liscarroll was registared in 1091 in the Dooms day book. We have two major events coming up in 2003.  

I have a Clan Cian kilt for sale, made by Celtic Craft Center, tailored in heavy 16 ounce wool, for about a 30" waist and about 21" from top to bottom. Worn only twice. Brand new condition. Paid $545 for it. First $350 gives it a new home. If interested please e-mail me and we will work out payment and shipment.

I am looking for info. on Robert John Carroll b.1902 d.1980 and Robert Carroll b.1868 d.1934 both in PA. I am trying to find which of the six sects. of Carroll that this family in south-eastern PA is decendant from. Thank you for your help
