My grandmother was Cornelia Carroll, daughter of Eli carroll (Fairfax, Vermont. He was the son of Elijah Carroll of Richmond,New Hampshire (b.1787), who was the son of Samuel Carroll of Royalton, Massacusetts. Any responses appreciated. Thanks! Great website!  

Hello to all Carrolls, O'Carrolls & descendants of those families. My ancestor was John Carroll from Borrisoleight, Co. Tipperary. He left there in 1814, went to St. Johns, Newfoundland, & then to Mount Desert Island, ME. where he married & raised a family. I wonder where we fit in on the 'surname connection'? How would we determine that? We have his parent's & grandparent's names. Is there anyone who could respond to these questions? You have a great site, it's quite exciting to read the text & see the tartan, crest, etc. Thanks.

Great information! My husbands Irish ancestry is so interesting! I really wish I were Irish!!!! I love the culture dance music history and I really should be Irish!:) I am searching for information to pass on to my children & others in the family about their heritage. If you are in the Huntsville Alabama area this weekend they are having a Scottish festival at the Sharron Johnston Park. I will be attending bringing abit o' the Irish to the festival. If they are willing to include the Irish side of the Celts maybee next year I can set up a Clan Cian booth. At Chief Eli's blessing of course.

Greetings everyone, long time no talk. Does anyone know of any events occuring in the near future on the east coast or there abouts? I am still wishing to become a more involved member of the clan. The game is in Modesto, Ca. this weekend. Well the game that I and the new wife will be at. Remember like a marriage the clan is. You only get out what you put into it. Hey it is only a one day game, Saturday. So if Modesto is near to you (within about 3 hours or so) I will see you there. Oh before I go. The party is before the game at P.J.
