Forgot to put comment first time I registered. Just starting to trace family tree. Great-grandfather from Dublin arrived North Carolina late 1870's. Later moved to St. Paul area. Anyone out close to this?

Roscommon never had it so good. My Dad always told me he was from the Ely Empire - I can see why now.

Ciannacht Kin, Checking in from the ancient Kingdom of Galicia in Spain, home of the Gael of Ireland. Today visited the Tower of Broghan in La Coruña, the stepping off point 2,500 years ago for the last Celtic conquest of Ireland. Pure magic. Home soon.

O.K. I just signed in but didn't have a comment. I've become a grandma in the last year and am about to become one again....happy days! What is the correct Irish way to say "grandma" or some such thing?
Please tell me how the McKee's are related to the Carroll sept?

I'm attempting to make connection with the ancestors of my gg grandfather, John Carroll, b. 1890, in Borrisoleigh, Tipperary. His father was William & grandfather Samuel. It would be nice to know which Carroll line we are descended from. There seems to be so many. You have a terrific site with lots of info but I can't seem to identify with any of the names, etc. Thanks for the visit!!

I e-mailed you last week on the account Kcar101360@aol.com, but have had trouble with that account. I would like to learn more about Irish clans and what they are about. Is there any information you can send me?

Here's hoping I'm heading in the right direction ? My Great Great Grandfather was Charles Carroll of Carrollton [1737-1832] . . . signer of the Declaration of Independence. IRISH not sure who was before him. Clan? Town? I would appreciate someone giving me a direction to start in.

Thank You,
Leslie
