Just browsing to see if i could find info on Thomas Carroll.He came across in the late 1800's,from County Cork.Haven't found anything yet.Sure glad I found this site though,it was very enjoyable compared to others i have visited. 

Forgot to put comment first time I registered. Just starting to trace family tree. Great-grandfather from Dublin arrived North Carolina late 1870's. Later moved to St. Paul area. Anyone out close to this?

I'm attempting to make connection with the ancestors of my gg grandfather, John Carroll, b. 1890, in Borrisoleigh, Tipperary. His father was William & grandfather Samuel. It would be nice to know which Carroll line we are descended from. There seems to be so many. You have a terrific site with lots of info but I can't seem to identify with any of the names, etc. Thanks for the visit!!

Here's hoping I'm heading in the right direction ? My Great Great Grandfather was Charles Carroll of Carrollton [1737-1832] . . . signer of the Declaration of Independence. IRISH not sure who was before him. Clan? Town? I would appreciate someone giving me a direction to start in.
