Hello.....my name is Jan. I teach Spanish at a Junior High School in Phoenix, AZ. My maternal grandmother was a MacCormack. Her mother was a Kerr. My maiden name was Wash..the story from my father was that a Walsh clan had a feud and part broke away and dropped the "L" to make the Wash name. I find this web site to be very interesting!!!!

Married to a descendant of Joanna O'Carroll born abt 1675 in Tipperary Co., Ireland m. Joshua Howard in Baltimore Co., Maryland, 1700 and died July 3, 1738 in Baltimore Co., Maryland. Family tradition indicated a relationship with Charles O'Carroll (the immigrant), but details are unclear. Would appreciate any information.

Dia dhuit everyone,
We just got to long beach, ca after a 6 hour drive. We are going to the game which will be held on the Queen Mary.
We had a great drive soooo many cars here in L.A. Whew. You got to love it. We even got an up grade on our room. We are staying on the 7th floor which is a concierge floor. You know in each room they have a small bottle of Middleton Irish Whiskey. Heehee naw just joking. Hope to see you all at the Queen Mary game if you can make it. The weather is really fine the temp is around 70 degrees and the sky is so blue that you can see the moon in the light of day. Good for L.A.
Please have a mighty fine week end everyone
We love you all
Slan

Mr Kerr,

In response to the birthdates of Charles Carroll and his children. I have that family tree as well as the inter-marriages. You might know that they are cousins of the King family, which I have that line also. I have just completed a family history book, titled, The Carroll Family, from Ireland, to Maryland, to Texas. My line is direct descent from Charles Carroll. So please anyone intestested can get this copy from me by sending $5.00, to Mary Bower, P.O. Box 923, Ozark, Mo. 65721. Allow ten days delivery. You can also order the family compilation history of all sources I have completed by sending check or money order for $16.00.

Best wishes, so happy to know the Carroll's are still one great big family.

Mary Robbin

I have tracked my surname of Bowling as far as I can. Your interpretation of it was very good and I believe that Clan Cian is the Clan that the name originates from, the name of Boland. I recently talked to one of the Bolands in Ireland and he said that when he came to the U.S., they spelled his name Bowland. Just a coincidence? I don't think so. Can I purchase a Clan badge from you folks? I recently talked to H&H Scottish imports and they sent me to you stating that you had the clan badges. Thank you!
