I was truly awed when I happened upon this site. we have been looking for two years now, for something on this clan. we have never received any information from the games in lincoln, nh, as many times that we have tried. but now we can do and find out more about our heritage. thank you for what we do have and be assured we will be in contact soon to know more. this is great!

My grandfather arrived in Halifax Nova Scotia around the turn of the century. He was married to a Ryan and to the best of my knowledge they were from Counties Cork & Sligo. This site will be a good place to start in finding my roots. 

Am looking for a branch of the clan that came to the USA and landed in NYC. Hope he may have came from the Birr area,Lawrence Delahanty, in about 1850 but have no other information about departure from Ireland. 

I found this page by helping my brother research his family history for a school project! I found out some really neat information: My great great uncle is Bishop John Carroll which makes Charles Carroll my great great cousin (or something like that). As well as a Carroll, I am a Carty too. Roger Carroll in my Great Grandfather and nephew to Bishop John Carroll. thanx for this glance into the history of my family!!! Jennifer Carty

I HAD THE DISTINCT PLEASURE OF RECEIVING A PERSONAL PHONE CALL FROM THE O'CARROLL QUITE SOME TIME AGO. I RECENTLY MADE CONTACT WITH OVER 100 RELATIVES WHO WERE PREVIOUSLY UNKNOWN TO ME. STRANGE AS IT MAY SEEM, MY FATHER BEARS AN UNCANNY RESEMBLANCE TO THE O'CARROLL.

im a Carroll from Denver, Colorado, USA. i just recently joined Clan Cian. 

I'm a Carroll originaly from Widnes, which is near Liverpool in the UK. I have know idea how we come to be there although I beleive my great grandfather was Irish. I now live at Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. 

I am searching for the following Carrolls (of any spelling) in North Carolina: Alexander, Edmund, and Demcy (or Dempsey). I believe Alexander is my ggggrandfather. Alexander married Lucy Ryal/Royal in Duplin County, NC April 7, 1783.
